The WCSJ2009 committee invites applications from working journalists
(staff or freelance from print, broadcast, online) for a limited
number of Travel Scholarships.

These will cover travel, 6 nights accomodation (for scholars who live
outside London) from Sunday 28th June to Saturday 4th July 2009 and
full registration for the 6th World Conference of Science Journalists

ESOF är organisationen som vartannat år organiserar en europeisk vetenskapsfestival, en europeisk version av AAAS, om man så vill.
2004 var första gången en festival ordnades, då i Sockholm. Därefter 2006 i München, 2008 i Barcelona och 2010 blir det i Torino, Italien. Nu söker man en ny programdirektör baserad i Strasbourg, Frankrike.

EICOS, the European Initiative for Communicators of Science received the necessary funding to organise again the Hands-on Laboratory and the Extended Laboratory Assignements. The Hands-on Laboratory will take place from June 6th until June 13th 2009, as in the last years, the Max Planck Institute for biophysical Chemistry in Göttingen Germay will be the hosting institute.
