Pete Wrobel, tidigare på Nature, jobbar numera med webbtidningen Science Business. Han m fl kommer till Stockholm nästa vecka för konferens, prisutdelning m m om spinoff-företag, entreprenörer, forskning etcetera. Vetenskapsjournalister är välkomna att delta i aktiviteter på KI och IVA i Stockholm.

Science|Business is holding a conference on academic enterprise, called Starting Up!, at Karolinska Institutet on 2 December. It starts at 10 and ends around 5.30. I attach the programme. Keynote speakers include Harriet Wallberg-Henriksson (Karolinska President), Odile Quintin (Director General of Education, European Commission) and Jean-Philippe Courtois (President, Microsoft International).

There will be a press conference from 12.45 to 1.45.

In addition, we are holding a gala dinner to announce and award prizes in our ACES awards programme, the first pan-European awards for academic enterprise.
